The mushrooms may have vanished, but the nightmare is far from over…

After weeks of battling the mysterious fungal infestation, Habbos across the Hotel were finally beginning to breathe a sigh of relief. The strange mushrooms that once plagued our rooms have seemingly disappeared without a trace. But just as things were returning to normal, something far more sinister had begun to take hold.

A mysterious and highly contagious virus is spreading throughout the Hotel.

An anonymous report shows that exposure could have an effect on the Habbo brain, causing Habbo’s to sneeze and spread the infection! What that actually means for an infected Habbo remains unclear, but we'd probably recommend keeping your distance from anything green and glowing for now.

Capture, Defend and Survive!

The outbreak is spreading across Habbo Hotel: Origins! Get ready for Glukko Outbreak, a brand-new team-based game where players will battle for control of different zones while avoiding a rather nasty infection!

Inspired by Capture the Flag, the objective is simple: capture and hold more zones than the opposing team!

Each arena features five capture points, known as wards, with red and green areas indicating which team controls them. Players must work together to capture enemy territory while defending their own.

How does it work?

Each match lasts 90 seconds, split into three 30-second waves. At the end of each wave, the team controlling the most wards earns a point before the wards reset and the next wave begins. The team with the most points after all three waves wins!

With three different maps to battle across, teamwork and strategy will be key to victory!

But there's a twist! Players can sneeze on their opponents, temporarily transforming them into zombies and adding a little extra chaos to the competition.

Will your team take control, or will the infection get the better of you? Get ready for Glukko Outbreak!

Glukko Outbreak will be available on the in-game Game System.

🦠 VIRUS FURNI LINE

Arriving alongside the outbreak is the new Virus Furniture line, bringing infected and contaminated furni into the Hotel for Habboween.

Whether you're building an abandoned laboratory, a quarantine zone or somewhere the infection has completely taken over, there's plenty here to experiment with.

The Virus line, alongside Brewworks and Habboween will remain in the catalogue until Monday 2nd November - so make sure you pick up everything you need before they disappear.
