Deepgrove: more beyond the walls

A small survey team has arrived at Deepgrove. They've brought masks, clipboards and plenty of work to do. Introductions appear to be further down the list.

Who sent them?

They're measuring the old walls and marking out ground beyond the first courtyard. Someone has clearly taken an interest in this place. We just haven't found out who.

The team seems particularly keen to keep digging beneath the ruins. It is quite an expedition for people who haven't told us what they're looking for.

More beneath the surface

Their work has already exposed more of the settlement, with walls and furniture still partly buried.

We're calling the new finds Ironstone, Claystone, Gilded and Verdigris Deepgrove. There appears to be rather more here than that first courtyard suggested.

Still work to do

There's plenty left to dig out, clear and carefully lift before these pieces can leave the site. The four new ranges are coming to the Catalogue soon, once the finds are ready. They are not on sale yet.

We'll share release details in Hotel news. And if anyone finds out who's paying for all those clipboards, we'd like to know.
